I do not have all his stock choices purchased yet but I will in time. Can't beat the access to the chat room and the advice you get there. His ideas are well researched, easy to understand and timely and best of all, productive! Have not been a subscriber for very long, but I love the content and your take on the positions you choose. I don't think you can sugar coat things. Excess dividends are reinvested to sustain capital loss due to inflation. My only concern is that you do so much that you risk burn-out. Take profits as you go and look for lower entry prices as volatility comes along; B.

The articles HDO wrote this year said it was one of the best years to invest in preferred shares....they were right. a friendly chat board and lots of articles about the market are great but the stock picks are losers in a bull market. I love the fact that he keeps an eye on the Macro view. I’ve worked with numerous graduates of Thunderbird University for over twenty-five years (including a seven-year stint as a direct report) and I have found them to be among the most insightful colleagues of my career. Since April my account is up 3.9% but my income (real money) is up 53% annually. A huge advantage to HDO over other investment services I've tried (5 to date) is that it is real-time and (most important) member success focused. These price drops didn’t happen only because of the recent down market.
I found it particularly irresponsible that at the peak of the crisis, HDO kept on encouraging members to hold, buy more, and they kept giving the argument that "so what if the price is down 80%, the income is unaffected" LOL (while shaking my head). HDO is truly an amazing service. This particular complaint has nothing to do directly with money, except that it gives you an insight into the thinking of Rida & Co. I invest with confidence now. Mr. Morwa recommends that we diversify to mitigate risk, but it takes a lot of gainers from many other stock picks to make up for a big loser like LTSH.
