Stomach cancer is a sneaky and treacherous disease that creeps up and builds into the cells without revealing very noticeable symptoms. This is what makes this disease extremely dangerous because by the time you identify the signs, the cancer has had sufficient time to progress deeply and hazardously.

The cancer of this type is not the inherited cancer. Irregular and random mutation of DNA cells result in gastric cancer. It is extremely a rare condition that this disease can be associated with genetic mutation.

1. Bloody stool or vomit
A person needs a proper medical checkup if there is blood in his stool or blood in his vomit. The blood colour in stool is likely to look maroon or tarry black. The blood colour in vomit is likely to look bright red.
The food is partially digested or may look like “coffee grounds”. These symptoms if observed should not be neglected. These are most probably the sign of stomach cancer.
2. Loss of appetite
Loss of appetite is also one of the symptoms of stomach cancer. For example, if a person sits to eat food, after taking few bites, he feels full or lack of interest in food. This sudden loss of appetite or level of fullness is not a good symptom.
One needs to see a doctor if he observes such things. It should not be ignored; it is an indication of having stomach cancer.
3. Stomachaches
Another sign of stomach cancer is having stomach ache. Sometimes may be the ache is due to stomach ulcer or may be some other stomach infections. It is not mandatory that every pain in stomach is due to stomach cancer.
There are some other symptoms regarding this stomachache which indicates that it is stomach cancer. The patient suffers from consistent abdominal pain.
The pain is troublesome and continual. The pain is prolonged. It does not occur for one day and goes away for weeks or months and then come back again. A minor ache in the middle of stomach is a “classic” stomach cancer pain.
4. Weight loss
It is not necessary that weight loss is only because of stomach cancer. Diabetes and other diseases also cause weight loss. Still it is one of the symptoms of stomach cancer.
If a person is not dieting and still he is losing weight then this is something to worry about. In such condition, a person should see a doctor.
5. Heartburn
Some other symptoms of stomach cancer are heartburn. Indigestion is also sign of stomach cancer. It is not essential that these symptoms are only because of stomach cancer.
6. Constipation, bloating and diarrhea:
Other symptoms of stomach cancer are constipation, diarrhea, and bloating. If a person feels problem in his bowl moment, than he should visit a doctor.

Tumour

Malignant tumour is also known as cancer. It can grow in any part of the body. A tumour is declared as cancerous when it grows near tissues or cell move into blood or lymphatic system and they spread in lymph nodes and other parts of the body.
