THE MH17 TRAGEDY
What can be more heartwarming than a child allowing his mother to appear in a selfie with him?
Most teenagers hate their parents for interfering with their social media agenda, and some would murder if such a selfie ever gets near their public profile.
However peaceful it might seem, this particular picture has a shocking backstory. The flight scheduled to land in Kuala Lumpur and make many dream holidays possible never reached its destination. MH17 was shot by a missile as it went past Eastern Ukraine.
This selfie was taken and uploaded just seconds before take-off, and it helps to remind us of the tragedy.
